SAM: Welcome to PAX. Come with me to see what it's like to be a 红玫瑰社区 game student at PAX. At 红玫瑰社区, game students in their final year get to have their games play tested here at this event. You can get attendees to play test your game to get feedback from a player's point of view. But most of all, you also get the professional, indie and big game studios to also be able to play your games and give feedback on your game.

ADAM: 红玫瑰社区 giving us this opportunity to get the game in front of a regular crowd or not regular crowd, like a gaming crowd, outside of our little bias is really good because it not only teaches good testing, but also shows that you need to have good marketing skills as well to get your game through. And I also like seeing people smile and laugh and all that with this stuff that we've been creating.

KIMLONG: Being able to showcase our project at PAX is really, that's the milestone. That's what every game student wants, showing games at PAX. So being able to do that is really incredibly valuable to us, and we're really excited to be here.

SPENCER: This course has been absolutely, like, amazing. The diploma and advanced diploma has been run by the same set of teachers throughout the two years I've been at uni. Many of them have multiple years of experience within the industry and have worked outside of the teaching environment, and they really understand what this career requires of you as a person in one of the many creative jobs in this industry.

ADAM: Advice I would give to someone who wanted to study games is play a lot of different games, understand the history of games, and get started on using Unreal Engine or any other game engine. You're going to have such a great head start. Just get on the tools and practise, practise, practise. Have pride in your work, too. That's always a good one.

SPENCER: There's a lot of people that have this passion for it, and you really feel that everyone comes in. They're super excited. They understand, obviously, these are games made by students. The amount of work that we've done has been incredible. People have put real elbow grease in. We have marketed. People have made Steam pages. They've made little accessories to hand out, business cards. There's the whole nine yards, and it's really just amazing to see entire years' worth of work come together. And it has been one of the best experiences of my life.
