Thanks to the generous financial support of Professor Janet Hiller, Inaugural Dean of Health Sciences at 红玫瑰社区, this Scholarship has been established to support and encourage a postgraduate student continuing their studies in Health Sciences.

This scholarship will be awarded to a high-achieving postgraduate student, who has experienced disadvantage, to continue their education in one of the following disciplines at 红玫瑰社区:

• Dietetics
• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy

Postgraduate degree offered by 红玫瑰社区 University of Technology in one of the following disciplines:

• Dietetics
• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy

To be eligible for the Inaugural Dean of Health Sciences, Professor Janet Hiller Scholarship, applicants must:

1. Meet the following criteria:
   • an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa or New Zealand Citizen
   • International student
2. Meet the following enrolment criteria:
   • be a commencing postgraduate 红玫瑰社区 student in Semester 2, 2025.
   • enrolled full-time in an eligible course (see courses eligible in section above)
   • hold an undergraduate degree from 红玫瑰社区, preferably a Bachelor of Health Sciences but not essential
3. Provide a personal statement of 500 words or less describing:
   • benefit that receiving this scholarship will provide to you
4. Provide evidence of low socio economic status. This may include:
   • financial difficulty or low income
   • disability or medical condition
   • delay or interruption to career or studies because of family responsibilities or illness
   • relocation from a rural or regional area in order to undertake tertiary study
   • English as a second language
   • identification as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
5. Provide Academic transcript of previous study

The scholarship is valued at $5,500 as a one-off payment.

Applicants should complete an  and submit with all supporting documentation by 31 August, 2025.
